On December 30, as part of its “Exploitation Cinema” double feature series, BCI will at last unleash the uncut version of HORROR HIGH (aka THE TWISTED BRAIN) as part of a double feature with Roberta Findlay’s LURKERS. All past video releases of HOROR HIGH have been culled from edited TV prints; this DVD version finally presents the film in its R-rated incarnation, as according to BCI, “The uncut version has been often requested by genre fans for several years.” On the same date, the “Exploitation Cinema” series recreates an authentic, schlocky 1969 double bill of NIGHTMARE IN WAX starring Cameron Mitchell and Al Adamson’s BLOOD OF DRACULA’S CASTLE starring John Carradine and Jennifer Bishop.
