Hello. This is an early black and white 50's film. It tells the story of RMS Titanic and her final days and hours afloat. The ship strikes an iceberg and is severely damaged. Unable to keep afloat, distress signals are sent. This is a similar story to Titanic but minus the dramatic story and a lot shorter too. The events are accurate and we see how there were the heros and the villains. Technologically the best and perhaps then, the most well appointed ship in terms of luxury too. I too could see how this film strongly inspired and influenced the more recent remake. In order to review, I needed to say that YouTube does not make for a well platform on a cell. However, it is the film and not the phone. The story is elegant and well crafted, the sets are well made and the acting indeed, very good. An 8 of 10.
