[JoLUG-General] Meeting Update + Plans

Salam All

We had a very nice meeting today. I would like to express my personal thanks to all the brothers who showed up. Those who couldn't make it. You were missed.  Insha'Allah we can catch up in near future.

We had about 10-12 person meeting. The place was cozy and nice. Sun light and Jolugers go very well together. Ventilation was excellent. I didn't leave Jolug meeting coughing for a change.

There were proposals to make it is regular monthly event.  F**Dback is needed on this.

Also, there were few discussions about a public event at Mets Trade Show or something like it. Showcasing Linux implementation in Clustering+Rendering Farm+Server High Availability+ VOIP implementation.

Something along the lines of a group project where every one in the LUG can participate in according to their interest.  Ideas are welcome.

We do need to have www.Jolug.org operational with a wiki at least ASAP.

Anyone who attended the meeting today is invited to add their thoughts and comments about today's meeting to this thread.
