Salam All This lecture hasn't been announced formally yet and already we have 20 confirmations,10 days before the expected date.
So, does anyone have a bigger place we can move it to? A University or college amphitheatre or some place where we can seat 50 people. Or we could do the same lecture twice to accommodate the surge on demand? We have an 18 person seat limitation with our current sponsored place. We will not over step our welcome and cram 25-30 person where 18 people can barely fit. 20 person like us should have a contact with someone who knows someone who knows someone who can give a room for few hours. 4 degrees of separation guys not 6. If the topic is of such interest we can make this a regular event. We can do a whole series of lectures about the exciting things we explore and use. Various CMS installations, Themeing, Application Frameworks, Programing Environment and add your own thing here. Ala'a Halasa will be compiling and maintaining 2 lists from now on. One is a list of speakers and a second is a list of proposed topics. Please give him all the support you can guys. He is new and eager to do stuff. He even shows up on time for meetings and such. That alone tells us tons about this guy. We will be adding detailed information about this in new section on our improved website (Drupal 5.1.) We still need a lot of your help with that too. I will be making a formal request later insha'Allah. Please let us know on how you prefer to process with options we have above.
