I rarely engage myself in discussions were everyone is partially right. I just would like to point out that is not a black and white issue.
Then again, logically speaking, how do you show white? By contrasting it with black. Or any other color. We are such a divers group and our members hold many affinities to various degrees of gray and rightfully so. I, as a member, am free to express my likes and dislikes of any technology. Linux or non Linux. I may base my sentiments on so many things from the business practices of companies providing the technology to my partiality to the color scheme used on their web site. The opinions of the members are not necessarily those of JOLUG. This in not mutually exclusive. You can be a Linux user and use other OSs. Many of us do. You can be a Linux user and elect not to use a non open source software. (good luck.) I can do what I want and I don't expect others to do exactly as I do. (although my way is the best way) :D Some members are activists in various FOSS venues. Some are not. Some FOSS activists are not members. Some are. The debate is healthy and I do enjoy it from time to time. JOLUG. Stands for JOrdan Linux Users Group. Keep it up guys.
