Dear Tololy, We, the JoLUG, Jordan Linux User Group, apologize from the action that happened from one of the JoLUG members. We deny that action and any such actions, playing games, jokes, teaching lessons, damaging others' machines should not be done here. All members are expected (but as JoLUG we cannot guarantee this will happen) to help and to recruit more members to the LUG, any such action is rejected and the member that does that will have his emails moderated and may also be banned from the LUG mailing list.
We might not be the greatest place on earth and the best LUG that everyone is dreaming about, but that doesn't mean that we become a place for destroying or damaging others. If you do not want to help, you do not want to be polite, behave yourself and communicate with respect with others and respect each and everyones opinions, preferences, religions, languages you will be moderated or even banned. JoLUG will not tolerate having its reputation to be touched, we are not good, thats fine, but we will not become mean, evil, bad LUG. This place is to discuss Linux-oriented and based topics and to help others within this scope, and it will remain like that. Tololy, we JoLUGgers are extending our apologies to you again, and if you needed any help please do not hesitate to contact the LUG again, hopefully such an action will not happen again, and hopefully such an action makes you and other newbies be more careful from being the victims of such actions.
