Continuing on the "cancer" theme...

Wasn't that the whole idea of the GPL?
To "force" the propagation of freedom (speech).
This is where the ingenuity of Richard Stallman's philosophy resides.

The bottom line is: We (as GNU/Linux users) are happy to receive this
eye-opening, freedom-bestowing infection; and are willing to actively
pursue passing it on to others. Regardless of what nay-sayers might
do; We are here to stay and we are only going to spread, no matter how
fast.
