With all do respect, I'm also wondering how did you arrive to the conclusion that people here only use Ubuntu and don't know about OpenBSD? You do have a point that this is not the best place to post BSD questions, but that doesn't mean people here won't be able to help. anyway, I'm not sure if this have any relation, but check out the /etc/ hostname.x10 file. man hostname.if has some more information. Maybe its best if you would ask in the openBSD mailing list instead.
