Hey Ahmed, LUG means Linux User Group, so this group is dedicated to everything linux. There is a second special purpose group that is called Ubuntu LoCo that specifically handles Ubuntu only. So in this group, you can talk about anything related to linux, not just Ubuntu.
Other Unix-Like OSs? Hmm, From the name, they are out of scope of this groups interests, however we don't have a specialised group for things like BSD or Mac OS, and they are somewhat close to linux. I guess my answer would be, ask here, people are friendly enough to answer if they know, but do NOT expect an answer. We used to have a by-weekly meeting arranged, but we kinda lost enthusiasm after a while. Try to stir things up, and see if you can arrange for a meeting. http://jolug.org would be a nice place to start.
