My friend traveled to KSA yesterday noon, I'll send him an email to see if
he has been put into any of this nonsense or not.

However, I am a true believer that spam mail is 98% false and a hoax so I
am just doing to help shed some truth into this rather than keep it a 
speculation
in our community.
