Yes. We do not want anyone committing any change in jonas without asking
the jonas team to review the proposed modifications and to do a minimum of tests.
This seems a normal apporach to keep code clean and coherent.

May be this could happen in the future. For now, the cvs login can only be used
to issue readonly commands (diff, co, update, status, ...).
For those who want to submit modifications on JOnAS, the best way to do it is
to send a cvs diff of your modifications on the jonas-dev list, or directly
at [EMAIL PROTECTED] (this list replaces [EMAIL PROTECTED])
with the necessary explanations about your changes.
If this is accepted, the changes will be incorporated in the cvs tree.
Note that you will always get the last version of jonas thru cvs (except if you
use a tag to get a special oldest version). This version will be most of the time
newer than the downloadable version of jonas source code, which is always the last
"tagged" version (i.e. a fully tested version).
Today, the cvs version is the version tagged "jonas_1_5", first version of jonas
accessible thru CVS.
