Seems there are some mis-formatted files in the tar archive for NT binaries: All batches (e. g. compile.bat) do not work, but only trigger "File not found" from command line. So I opened that batch file in the DOS editor (EDIT command), inserted one blank line, killed that blank line, saved the file, and closed it. Well, then it works. So it seems that either the editor that batches where made with is not 100% Windows compatible, or the archive tool TAR does dome strange things.
