Hello,
The JOnAS team will work on EJB 2.0 this year,
- first step will be Message-driven Beans, which should be available
1Q2001,
- a detail, the <resource-env-ref> in the deployment descriptor should be
provided very nearly,
- then the persistence aspects (CMP 2.0) will be addressed this year,
this will occur with the integration of a "persistence manager" component
developed by a partner, that will allow the management of relationships,
but also the use of different persistence supports, i.e. RDBMS, files,
directories, ...
Some parts of CMP 2.0 should be available end 2001.
- will also be addressed this year: JOnAS administration, CORBA interoperability.
