Depends on the kind of security exception you get.

If you get an Applet security exception (probably because your JOnAS server is not the same
as the Server you get the Applet from) you have to sign your Applet.

We have (signed) Applets running that connect with no problems to JOnAS.

Subject: Programming an Applet Client to access to EJB components

Hi,

I've checked out into jonas-users mailing list and couldn't find a clear explanation about how to access EJB components (using JOnAS) thru an applet client (accessing this applet from a local html file, no webserver running, or using http protocol).

Excepting the fact of using available libraries, for the applet to find all the classes needed, I usually get a Security exception when I try to turn a valid java program into an applet.

What are the steps to follow ?
What specific files of JOnAS are to be configured ?
Is there an example of such applications on any documentation ?

Thanx.
