Well, I don't know if Joni is booked to do the show, but Sandra mentioned her
more than once in conversation during last night's debut. Once in reference
to the fact that the viewer is getting great entertainment on A&E "As Joni
Mitchell said it, For Free." She later said she'd taken a Hejira to Europe
recently. Then during the interview with Chrissie Hynde, they brought up Joni
as one of the few guitarists who is "as good as the guys." Chrissie said
Joni was an inspiration, and Sandra professed her love of Joni once again.
Personally, I'd love to see Joni do that show, as long as she doesn't have to
sing a duet with Sandra, who IMHO, hits as many sour notes as not.
