Hey all,
Had to chime in on this thread.
I think the song you're looking for, Mark, is called
"Something Cool", and is on many a live performance
recording (check the mp3 section of her website).
Actually, anyone who likes RLJ should be aware of this
if you're not already; the RLJ site, run by Rick
herself, has an awesome mp3 section featuring MANY of
the more popular RLJ boots, downloadable song by song
for .75 cents each.

For the record, RLJ's problems with coheence, drugs &
alcohol etc., are something that seems to wax and
wane. Some of you may recall the review I posted last
winter of her Boston performance and how sad that was
for me (and those of you that read it...).

As far as the 'Ghostyhead' affair, the one time I met
RLJ was just outside the side door entrance to the
Paradise here in Boston just before her performance
was to begin on the 'Ghostyhead' tour. When pressed
(she didn't want to stop and deal with me, and this
time I was unattractively soused!), she said that her
new CD was exciting to her because it was indeed
different...that she souldn't keep on doing the same
thing regardless of how her core fanbase felt about
it. She now says it's a recording of prayers, and the
newer live versions of the songs she's still doing
from 'Ghostyhead' sound better now than they did at
first...a little more organized.

Cheers,
Chris, just having won a 'Court & Spark' promo poster
for an outrageous auction price...but still pleased
about it.
