Ive enjoyed the recent mentions/discussion of Stan Rogers. He truly
was a great singer-songwriter!

You might be interested to know that the Australian (well, he was born
in Scotland and retains a strong Scots accent, but he has lived here
for many years) folk singer-songwriter Eric Bogle has a fine version
of Stan Rogers The Loch-keeper on his 1984 album When the Wind Blows.
Also on that album is Bogles own achingly beautiful tribute to Rogers
 Safe in the Harbour.

If you are interested in Rogers these tracks are well worth hunting
down (or asking me for a tape :-).

John (in Sydney)

PS. Greetings to Hell wherever she is, bearing the 'down under' flag
to Jonifest!
