Rob, So cool you get a preview of Tori's Strange Little Tour! I'm having to go to some financial extremes to secure my tix for the show here in Boston (Oct.15th), as the show sold out while I was waiting for the TeleCharge website to work (TeleCharge SUX!!!; and with all the kvetching about TicketMaster and their charges and policies, I've never had a problem with their equipment letting me down!) - anyway, I'm still going to see the show..it's just going to be expensive... "Rattlesnakes" is definetly one of the stand out tracks on the disc, which I've had for several weeks now. It's taking me a long time to start warming up to it, as it lacks a lot of those little Tori 'flourishes' that make her music pretty. This CD isn't very pretty and, at first, I found it very hard to listen to. Thankfully, it's getting better each time. What she did to 10cc's "I'm Not In Love" still has me devastated - one of my faver cheese tunes from the 70's (I especially loved the way it was used in Virgin Suicides) - and she really ripped a new asshole into Neil's "Heart of Gold", barely recognizable in it's new incarnation. What she does with Eminem's "'97 Bonnie & Clyde," however, is pure genius. It'll be interesting to see what the rest of the world has to say once the disc is officially released in a few weeks. Cheers, Chris
