Hell and I had just passed though the epicenter in West Hollywood and were
stopped at a light on Santa Monica Blvd. At first I thought my car was
dying - like it was suddenly hitting the ground. It was Hell who knew it
was an earthquake (they have them in Kiwiland). We started to bounce up and
down for about 5 seconds, nervously giggling, and then we headed to Hal's
bar in Venice for a drink and a look at the Joni painting there. It was
pretty strong but very short. We were cracking up because Big Walt had
predicited it today, and of course, this way I could give her the full
California experience ;-) Kakki
