The only review of the album i've read was on the net, sorry, i can't
remember where, and the reviewer was positively citing this Dylan album as
one of the albums of the year! he did say, though, that the songs are very
varied in style and perhaps some consistency across the album is lost due to
Dylans attempting to fit in so much. at different times, he said, the album
is rocky, bluesy, and a little swingy- in a western way. that's piqued my
curiousity for sure.
i'm sure it'll be christmas before i can afford to buy a cd though, so i'll
wait. next on my "to get" list is Bjorks new one. it was great to see so
many JMDLers
