Same thing happened to me walking out of school today. Only thing was that I was
standing in shadow of our flag at half mast.
Keep thinking about that commerical for Southwest Airlines..."You are now free to move
about the country". I believe we have forever lost that freedom. Those of you who
have traveled to England know the security measures taken there. Our days of hopping
on a domestic and taking off are gone. We have lost our innocence. How lucky to have
had it all these years.
Thanks to all the NYC listers who posted their experiences. Kay, Deb and Patrick
especially. Jeff you still out there? I know you are mostly a lurker but would like
to hear how you are doing.
Kay and Deb, you should look into having your e-mails published somewhere, they were
that powerful.
May this bring us together and let us pray that our country will seek justice in a
humane and democratic fashion. To blindly strike back would only clothe us in the
same terrorist garb.
