I did go to Rickie Lee's sight right after I found out it was her birthday. It was, however, before I wrote about 'Pirates' and I thought it was interesting that as a teenager she would sing the entire score of 'West Side Story' to amuse herself. I swear I hear echoes of it in 'Pirates' though I can't exactly pinpoint where.
