I believe that "Millworker" was written by Taylor for a Broadway musical adapted from Studs Terkel's "Working" back in the 70s. Yes, Midler did cover it beautifully on her underrated "Thighs and Whispers." That disco infused album featured the salacious "My Knight in Black Leather" and "Married Men." No wonder then, that "Millworker" stood out. If you can find/download it, check out "Rain" for a beautiful vocal and arrangement.
