I awoke today and found the frost perched on the town.

It's years since I lived in Winter. Now of a day, wrapped in layers of black
and wool, I stravaig through thick blankets of fallen leaves crunching. The
odd crow from tree to tree evoking ... Hejira. That winter album. Whether
I'm walking for walking's sake, waiting for a train, or just in absence of
music, I find myself running music through my head. Today was the winter of
our Miss Discontent. Songs of joy and peace rang round winter chimneys
waving.

Apply the fire with kindling now, coz
Winter is closing in.

How oft Joni.
