It seems to me a strategy for getting *some* sales out of an album that otherwise isn't selling at all. The diehards already have DED, but will buy a rerelease with extra goodies. Given the minimal costs involved in such a venture (no new recording/production costs, merely the actual manufacture of new discs and probably some minimal marketing), it would almost surely bring in a small profit, which would be more than the disc is bringing in now. Especially because they could then restore the higher price point. --Michael ===== ____________________________________________________ "I'm just a little bit heiress, a little bit Irish, A little bit Tower of Pisa whenever I see ya, So please be kind if I'm a mess." --Rufus Wainwright, "Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk" Yahoo!
