i'm just back from the streets. it's a nightmare. looting and rioting. the cops are 
out in the streets. really medieval. i'm fine. rumor has it that all our deposits will 
be confiscated by monday. i am very disconcerted and i don't know what else to report. 
i'll keep in touch as long as the power is on: rioters have sabotaged some of the 
electricity companies. i sure wish i were in north dakota now. 
i love you all and i appreciate your support.
