wow, rose, how cool you finally got to hear & hang with richard! we visited the livingroom a couple of years ago to check it out ... we'd heard it was one of the places for indies to play in nyc...i really liked it! it had a very nice vibe, people really listening to the songwriters & the wait staff were really friendly...thanks for sharing your wonderful evening with us! is the heyman & herman a recent collaboration? i ask because peter noone is a sb resident & wonder if richard ever comes to sb or socal...if he does i will definately go hear him play!
"Last night Jim and I drove into NYC to see an old childhood acquaintance of mine, Richard X. Heyman, perform at The Living Room on Stanton Street, and whom I haven't seen in 3 decades! We reconnected through his wife Nancy via classmates.com Richard was the drummer in a garage band called "The Doughboys" from my hometown of Plainfield where we both grew up. I told this story already to some of you in private emails, so I'll spare them the details LOL!"
