From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Grammy Grumblings, continued (VLJC) "The more I see, the more amazed I am that Joni has survived at all. Intelligence just doesn't sell, mostly because the record execs don't want it to. Gee, that would mean having to come up with something intelligent next week, and the week after... They're not up to it."
Well, when I think of Joni's lack of popularity among the masses I think about the constitution of people as a whole. . . and it makes sense. What I am saying is that the majority of humans are not interested in preservation, justice, humainity, fairness, grace, and overall real, true natural beauty. For example, many would prefer the bang of fireworks or a car racing around a track, etc. to a beautiful sky, a work of art, a starry night, a drop of rain on a sunny day, a flower, or seeing four deer playing free in the yard. (I saw four deer together in the yard this week!) Many people don't seem care about these things. (No offense to those who love fireworks and race car driving.) Fireworks are okay, they are just expensive and they scare animals. . . . going off on a tangent here. My point is, "intelligence" isn't wide spread. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Photos is the easiest way to share and print your photos: http://photos.msn.com/support/worldwide.aspx
