I just read the inductees for the 2002 R&R Hall of Fame, and I'm so glad to see that two of my faves made it. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers plus The Talking Heads were awarded. The other inductees were Isaac Hayes Brenda Lee, Gene Pitney, Ramones & Chet Atkins. As a non performer, Jim Stewart (no not me) made it for cofounder of Stax records.
I always liked "I'm Sorry" by Brenda Lee, but I had no idea that she did so much more for the music industry. Jimmy (not Jim) Stewart
