Darn right!

I have been listening to that Trouble Child of an album "Don Juan's Reckless
Daughter" for about a week in the car.

When this thing was new, the public stayed away in droves. Joni got no
airplay. A year later, there were tons and tons of "cutout" LPs of DJRD, a
result of the company giving up on "moving" the already-pressed copies.

After marveling at DJRD anew, I went back to the liner notes to discover
that Wayne Shorter and Jaco Pasotius were on this album. It is always one
of my favorites.

Joni herself said in JazzTimes April 2002,
>>It was no longer a team player, a good supportive player; it was
personality that deserved to be in the foreground. We were conceptually
kindred. And to my amazement, not only was he doing some of things I
was asking people to do but he was playing Stravinsky figures in the
upper middle register and fitting them in all the right places.
