MANY readers wonder about the "Webster Hall curator Baird Jones" who's often 
quoted on this page. Who is this Jones? And why does a nightclub have a 
curator? Jones recently answered those questions. For the post-premiere party 
for "Resident Evil" - in which Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez play 
highly empowered feminists who put a major whipping on flesh-eating zombies - 
Jones put together an exhibit titled "Grrrl Power," which included paintings 
(all bought at various auctions) by Joni Mitchell, Candice Bergen, Kim Novak, 
Elke Summer, Sally Struthers, and Whoopi Goldberg.
