Have any of you(se) accordion gals heard of Kepa Junkera? He's from the
Basque Country here in Spain and he's very good. He released a double CD a
couple of years ago called 'Bilbao 00:00 h' and on it he plays with
musicians from many countries, including Quebec, Madagascar, other parts of
Spain, Ireland, Scotland, Portugal and Sweden. He plays a very small type of
accordion called, in Basque, a 'trikitixa', more specifically usually a
'Zero Sette' and sometimes a 'Hohner'. I don't know much about accordions,
although I've had many a beer with Flaco J Check it out if you get a
chance. It's a wonderful piece of work.
