Dear Colin, I'm surprised you received the CD so quickly! I am thrilled that you like it.
It's funny that you speak of "rich and famous." I was watching a Biography special on the community of Palm Beach, Florida, and it made me quite ill. The elitism was off the scale and someone of my color persuasion would not be welcome unless I were in a maid's uniform. Thank God not everyone with money acts this way! On the same note, I am equally appalled at the hip hop and rap world of power and money. Diamonds or "Ice" worn on the body is referred to as (and forgive my spelling) "Bling-Bling" and if you do not have at least $20,000 worth of chrome on your tires, you are not successful. I watched MTV's, "How To Be A Player" and was made equally as ill. I'm not sure why this elitism exists, but it's very sad either way you look at it. I feel very happy because all I want to do is sing and write well. I just want to be a part of the music world once again. I also want to be in a capacity to encourage other musicians, singers and songwriters to stretch their artistic wings and fly. I believe everyone has a gift that when cultivated and shared, gives joy to others. That's all I am trying to do, and I am so pleased that you enjoy the CD!
