I must admit, I had left Joni for a while after she came out with Shadows and Light. I had just lost interest in what she was doing. I know, I know ... blasphemy! When I heard Two Grey Rooms though .... I felt reconnected with Joni. I'm not sure why, but for me this song echoes Joni's earlier work.
