I happened to catch Deborah Harry & Chris Stein awhile ago as part of this series. It was interesting and Debbie can still sing as well as ever. She did a couple of songs with Chris & another guy playing acoustic guitars, 'One Way or Another' (I'm gonna gitcha gitcha gitcha gitcha gitcha) and a really pretty song from 'No Exit' that used some of her upper register. Gorgeous. I never realized what a fine voice she has. The interviewer was trying really hard to get Debbie to make some comment on the debt Madonna owes her as far as image, etc are concerned. Debbie dodged the questions and didn't comment on the Material Girl. Shows class, imo.
