Now it doesn't sound like Joni much, to me, except for the odd place, and I am pretty curious (Yippee Ai Ay, Yippee Ai Oh) where the sam hill it was found. Anybody able to tell me? Emil has liked that song since he first heard Fred Penner sing it. He met Fred this weekend after his concert at the International Children's Festival in St. Albert on Saturday. Ever since he met Joni in Saskatoon, he thinks it should be standard to meet any performer he goes to see. I say "Well maybe, but don't count on it" and sure enough he comes home with "Mom, you were wrong! Fred was signing autographs after his concert."
