I read the biography of Joni Mitchell by Karen O'Brien. I got it up in 
Canada. I have to say I was disappointed with it. It really didn't convey to 
me who Joni Mitchell is. 
I guess that is the trouble with bios when the person is living. A biographer 
doesn't have access to letters and papers and friends aren't able to be 
forthcoming. I found there wasn't a lot of detail. Most of the information 
wasn't new and it wasn't all that well written.
