The show was a benefit for two propositions on the ballot that fall: Prop 65, which was an anti-toxic waste initiative, and Prop U, which was an attempt to control building development in the city of L.A. Joni played with a full band and performed a half dozen songs including "Cool Water," and a still wordless version of "Lakota."
