IMO (rarely humble), it seems like a bit of a losing situation if something of real importance - like the tools to attempt to prevent war - is missed, or if the Joni-onlies don't have the chance to join in the celebration of the marriage of two JMDLers, or if they aren't invited to the next JoniFest. However, I realize that it's their choice to opt for Joni-only, and you're right: rules are rules. A civilized society (and discussion list) demands their existence and adherence to them.
