I just viewed the TNT tribute again last weekend.. but I don't remember her giving Cyndi a standing O. I saw though where she was visibly taken by some of the performances more than others. Speaking of standing ovations: Does it bother anyone how standing ovations have become cheap and commonplace? I'm thinking of the show "The View" if you are Joe Blow and walk out on that show YOU WILL get a standing ovation. So when a truly great walks out and gets one it doesn't mean much.

Bob..I'm waiting for you to come up with a parody of lesbians with low voices. (in time for Halloween? )

Bree

PS> you are not nuts..she might have done a half- stand..half- sit kind of thing.

I think that she also stood and applauded after Cyndi
Lauper's outstanding reading of "Carey" at the TNT
tribute a couple of years a go. Does anyone else
remember this, or am I nuts? Reuben
