But I would say that while Joni's high register is certainly in full evidence on STAS, she does go for some lower notes on this record that she doesn't seem to approach on Clouds. Matter of fact, I didn't get this record until the late 90's, and the IMMEDIATE thing that I noticed were the low notes like right off the bat when she sings "painted the pastel walls BROWN" on IHAK.
