I was at the beach in Santa Monica in 1966? early '67? when a TV crew showed up to film a segment for Hootenanny or Shindig or some such show with Every Mother's Son lip-syncing that song while "playing" their instruments in the sand. Then they brought on Wilson Picket to lip-sync "In The Midnight Hour".
