I had Outlook Express for a year. It was the most wretched piece of c..p. It shut down my mailboxs, couldn't retrieve important stored folders -lost forever - (lesson: always back-up off of e-mail program). Anyway, I finally couldn't send anything from any address to anybody, nor could I get anything.

I was almost to the point of tears. My e-mail was crippled and/or down for months. RoadRunner blamed Outlook Express and visa versa. Outlook Express (microsoft) wouldn't help, unless, of course, I wanted to give them my credit card number (I don't even have one) and then they'd allow me to "talk this through" with them for - get this - $70.00 an hour.

A sympathetic friend finally convinced me to dump the entire Outlook garbage can and install the "free" version of Eudora. I for one, don't like too much CHANGE. I was hesitant - but now I'm free. This is working perfectly with NO glitches, ditches or hitches yet. (Crossing fingers). I'm so happy to have Outlook Express out of my life that words can't even describe it.
