Hi Just like I wouldn't gulp down a chocolate mousse cake in 1 mouthful, I managed to listen to Cd1 in bits over 2 evenings.
So far, the only 2 songs I truly like are the ones I didn't care for too much in their original version: Slouching and Sire of Sorrow. The new versions adds a lot to them IMO. I'm having a problem with the other songs because I like the originals so much that I can't help but noticing the negative points, mainly her voice and this "Joni made easy" orchestration. Hope the rest grows on me. Laurent
