> Is there anything on the CD-r that was not on the PBS special? I haven't looked at it in literally years (was lent out to a jmdler for a time) but it is very different. It is interactive in a really magical way. It took me awhile at first (this was in my infant CD-r/net days) to figure it all out but that was half the fun. You advance through photos and collages and if you accidently click here or there, it takes you down another rabbit hole to a new scene and stuff. I finally saw little icons at the bottom of the screen - one was a heart - and clicking there would take you to the related paramours. It weaves in all the inter-connectedness of the artists featured. It took me several visits to see everything There was also a really sweet watercolor map which looked down on Laurel Canyon and had the streets and everyone's names on their houses. I should probably go take another look to refresh my memory. It is really a classic - with a very high level of charm - and I enjoyed it much more than the film on PBS. Kakki
