Thanks for the link, Les - what a great 'highlight' -
and so pleased for all those who witnessed it.

Without knowing it at the time, a while back I 
met another of his students (I imagine) - now 
a children's book publisher in London. She's 
a couple of years older than Joni so was not 
in the same class (but did tell me that she once 
gave her a lift in the back of her car).
