Hi all :) It's been a while since I've "visited" the list but I thought I'd have another go :) I'm from New Zealand, and just kind of got into Joni again - what with buying the new Travelogue album, etc.
Actually, I probably paid too much ....lol I bought too soon (from Borders), and it cost me NZ$68.95. Ahhh well..It was worth it I suppose. I have also just bought the new paperback version of the Karen O'Brien 'Shadows and Light' biography, which is very good. I was tossing up whether to buy the hardcover or paperback editions - the hardcover is very nice, of course, and has colored pictures in the middle as opposed to the paperback versions B&W pictures. Hardcover is more expensive, too, but I went with the paperback as it is "Fully Updated" (as it says on the cover) with "material from Chuck Mitchell, who was not available for interviews during the writing of the hardback edition". I enjoyed it very much. I see that this site (jmdl.com) is mentioned in the book, as it is in 'The Joni Mitchell Companion' book by Stacy Luftig. Oh well, that's all from me. I hope I don't get bogged down this time (even though I am getting sent the Digest version again). Maybe I'll stick around a little while longer :) Joseph. http://movies.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
