: through smoking, I bought the albums to support her efforts. This especially
: applied to "Both Sides Now", which I can barely listen to.

: I've now had the opportunity on the Joni website to listen to samples
: of her new CD "Travelogue". I may be in the minority here, but man!
: Every single song sounded like a dirge to me. Nothing in the slightest
: bit upbeat, every song sounded similar. With so many wonderful
: songs to choose from in this world, Joni appears to have decided
: that only the most morose, plodding tunes are suitable for her.
: I can't bring myself to purchase it.
