Kate, I worked on the last Gulf War, and I know that some of what is
in this article is correct, and some of it is not. I don't have time
to outline it all right now. But just to point out - the author of
the article works for the Independent Institute, founded by David
Theroux, a well known libertarian. They have a tendency to oppose
any interference in other countries, regardless of circumstance -
because they feel that America should exist in splendid isolation
politically.
