Hello All

I have been working in legaltechnology firm for the past 2 weeks (yawn) in between
auditions/living etc... and the only saviour this job has has been the fact that while
we are inputting data, we can listen to music played on our pcs over the headphones. I
have brought in a wealth of Joni's this past few weeks but the only one that I have
played everyday is CMIARS. It must be the slick production (I prefer it to DED) and
maybe the themes... lawyers, etc. The other songs that I have been made to listen is
Sex Kills (I usually skip it when I play it at home) and Sire Of Sorrow (TI Version).
I must say that listening only to the Travelogue version for the past few weeks, I
have really opened my ears to the harmonies on Job's Sad Song, and the subtle guitar
arrangement on the original version that Mendoza has brought to the fore on the
current version. Sublime.

I must say that I do prefer the Travelogue version of Sex Kills but it needs more than
my headphones can manage volume wise! Also Dancin' Clown really rocks, not a favourite
but I do enjoy the video of her dancing around the kitchen with the cats. And there is
a song whose rhythms are very close to the opening sound of Harlem In Havana but I
can't remember which, it might be The Beat Of Black Wings... In fact it is.

Also beenlistening to Nyro's 'Tendaberry' album which I didn't really get into when I
first heard it. It's probably gonna take more listenings to get me into her...

Tom Waits' Closing Time, also very good.

Dylan's Blonde On The Tracks

Hope everyone is well, it's HOME TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
